RWL-34(Damasteel) - Damasteel's PM steel, close in composition with Crucible 154CM steel, but uses latest gen PM technology and it's a very clean alloy, with obvious benefits. I had no idea, but I got a call from Damasteel reps, and turns out, RWL in the name are the initials of Robert Waldorf Loveless, famous knifemaker who popularized this alloy in the knives.
In addition, RWL-34 is used in making Damasteel's DS93x Damascus steel, mixing powders of RWL-34 with their PMC-27, and then hot forming bars suitable for knife making.

Manufacturing Technology - PM

Country - Sweden(SE)
