19C27(Sandvik) - Sandvik steel, very pure alloy. Popular with Japanese knifemakers, referred simply as Swedish steel. Often seen in Japanese kitchen knives, where it is hardened in the range of 62-64HRC. 19C27 is sort of a predecessor and more of a budget version of the Takefu VG-10 stainless steel, but a very solid performer on its own.

Manufacturing Technology - Ingot

Country - Sweden(SE)
