Butakiri ( 豚切り)
- A rural style knife that is intended to cut larger cuts of meat. 'Buta' means pig, and 'kiri' means to cut.


  • Typically a Single Grind knife.
  • Common Blade Length - 180-210mm(7.09-8.27")
  • Blade Length Range - 150-210mm(5.91-8.27")
  • Average Blade Thicnkess - 4-2mm(0.16-0.08")
