3Cr(Union Electric Steel) - Low alloy, quite clean, high carbon steel. 3Cr is a fine grained alloy. ~3% Chromium is not enough to make it a stain resistant in any meaningful way, but will form carbides aiding in wear resistance. While it's not a high wear resistance alloy, but will do better than AISI 10xx series. For the record, this isn't the same steel used in budget stainless knives despite having the same name, the other one being Chinese GB 3Cr stainless steel.
