LO-R 4197(Lohmann) - Newer alloy, appeared on maker's website in summer of 2017. As the name suggests, it should be an improvement over the well known Niolox steel. Purely form the specs, new steel has a bit less Carbon and vanadium, but more Chromium, Molybdenum and Niobium. I do not have any field reports yet, so it's hard to tell into what advantages or disadvantages the new composition will translate. Hopefully it will be easier to work with than the predecessor, Niolox steel
