SRS13(Nachi-Fujikoshi) - SRS-13 is a new, high speed, PM tool steel, basically slightly less Carbon version that the SRS-15 steel used by Akifusa in their kitchen knives. At this point, I have no reference data or any use reports other than the composition. I'd guess it'll perform very similar to SRS-15 steel, perhaps SRS-13 has a bit better corrosion resistance due to decreased Carbon content, which would leave a few more Cr atoms free to fight corrosion. Due to its low atomic weight, just 12, Carbon has far greater effect on carbide formation vs, much more heavy alloying elements such as V, Mo, W, etc. I'll update the record once I have more information.
