100CD7(AFNOR) - Ball bearing steel. Small amount of Chromium and trace amounts of Molybdenum provides for some carbide formation, and it can hold decent polished edge, but not very high on wear resistance. Works better ok for small to medium knives, although given appropriate heat treatment might do well in a larger blade as well.

Manufacturing Technology - Ingot

Country - France(FR)

NOTE - Approximate composition based on manufacturer's or standard reference information and other alloys in the same reference group is shown.

* - Listed as an equivalent or replacement for alloys in this group.
