Molva C(Simonds) - High speed tool steel. Working hardness for industrial applications 66HRC. Latrobe version(Tatmo-VN), contains some Nitrogen. Crucible version (Rex® M7N) also has unspecified amount of Nitrogen and slightly higher content of V and Mo. Balanced toughness and wear resistance, optimized for cutting tools. At 66HRC it should be slightly more wear resistant and less tough than AISI M2 tool steel.
