Lauri Stainless(?) - Stainless steel used y Lauri in his knives. Unfortunately, neither the maker nor the standard spec are known at this time. Hardness for the Lauri knives is 57HRC. Very similar by composition with German X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, which is very popular in kitchen knives, except Lauri stainless steel composition doesn't list Vanadium, present in X50CrMoV15. Absence of Vanadium is hardly a good sign given the composition. Grain size and possibly wear resistance would be adversly affected. Although, the composition might be incomplete.
