26C3(Bohler-Uddeholm) - High carbon steel. Quite pure alloy, with low Sulfur and Phosphorus content. Not stainless,s but does contain trace amounts of Chromium, which is present mainly for hardenability and strength improvements, rather than corrosion resistance. For now the only knife maker I know who could use UHB26C3 potentially would be Orjan Blom, who reported the alloy at first place.
