Had it for a while, but never had time to finish the review properly, usage section was empty. Well, not it's not. I suppose it wasn't a good idea to put few years of use in great detail, but condensed summary is there, including what i had to do to maintain the edge. Overall, exceptional performer in the kitchen. Fun to use, very easy to maintain. Details in the review.

One more custom knife from Phil Wilson. I've picked it up as is, it's not my design, or changed in any way. Superb cutter, easy to use. Bohler-Uddeholm K294 steel from which it is made was one of the reasons I wanted to have it, and the blade geometry is different from most of the utility knives I have. Interesting piece, and a real workhorse. Details in the review.

Fixed Bohler-Uddeholm Vanax 35 steel data. It is a PM steel, but was missing that piece of info. Added several new names for DIN and W-Nr standards.

Fixed an issue where identical names from different standards were pointing to the same url. Now each goes to its own file. Updated numerous notes, too many to list, in last 2 weeks.

Got contacted by Chroma representative regarding my Chroma Kitchen Knives Reviews. For one, steel info was incorrect, and that was rectified, not AISI 301 steel, which is a construction steel, but a proprietary, Japanese made alloy, called Type 301. How creative :) Especially that on the knives it says pure 301 steel, not even the word "type", and what can you find when searching 301. Why not put that info on their site, beyond me. Frustrating to some degree. Anyway, looks like I will be getting a new knife to test, as the results were too negative and they're sure something was way off. For the record, Type 301 is similar to Chromova 18 stele used in Globals, which in turn is said to be Aichi AUS118 steel.

Updated - Aubert & Duval X15TN steel composition, found another document on their website, it had more precise spec, actual ranges for alloying elements, not just averages. Updated quite a few steel notes, including CPM S125V, CPM S110V, CPM 3V, CPM 15V, and few others. Fixed external links in some of the alloy notes, made them internal to be precise. Added popular incorrect names for S125v and S110v, CPM 125V and CPM 110V, both have the same problem, missing S before the number, hopefully that'll help to clear things up.

Steel chart got speed improvements, which seem to be never enough, given ever increasing number of the alloys in it, and also fixes in Settings dialog functionality. Strongly recommended to set default standard to speed up page loading and then issue searches as necessary, which run against entire database. Knife steel Composition Graph Builder and Analyzer also got fixes and functionality improvements, most important being the ability to navigate to correct alloy when comparing steels with identical names. Added support for urls with standard or maker name in it. E.g. now you could type in url as: http://zknives.com/knives/steels/uni/X90CrMoV18.shtml indicating that you are looking for X90CrMoV18 steel composition and reference info, for UNI standard specifically, note uni just before X90CrMoV18 in the URL.
