Work was completed today. unexpectedly problematic was the crossbrowser audio playback. I otherwords, even today, modenr browser support for simple audio payback sucks. Still, managed to get things working and now next to the terms there will be a small speaker icon if th eaudio file is available and you can hear its correct Japanese pronounciation. My sincere thanks go to Sara and Jon - http://japaneseknifeimports.com for their time and effort recording theaudio voiceovers.

Ordered fee months back, on the ganza. I was late as usual and got one of the last ones, #597 out of 600 I think. Satin finish, with choil. I really like Respirene C handles on those basic series and M-Infi works in large blades superbly. We'll see how it all works out, 10 inch blade, pretty sharp and once I have time I'll do some choppin' ;)

While working with the chart this morning, found one bug, I knew about the other for few days. Anyhow both are fixed. Notes are correctly assigned to the alloys in all search modes , and graph builder properly displays percentage tick marks for all numbers, before in certain situations first digit was cut off.

Chroma Cutlery Porsche Type 301 P03 Japanese Vegetable Knife

One more Chroma review down and one more to go. No joy reviewing/testing either one of them though. Soft steel, forced thick edges, strange design. This one is called Japanese vegetable kitchen knife, but even with all the research I did on Japanese kitchen knives, I can't figure out what did they refer to anyway. Doesn't look like any Japanese vegetable knife I was able to dig up so far in the Japanese kitchen knives types and styles database.

First dual release is completed. And I am tired. Bunch of new features in both apps. 300+ new alloy names and bunch of new compositions as well. Key features are aliasing support for both apps and quick navigation menus for web app. Tested on all major browsers and seems to be ok. And now onto iphone version, which is about 20% done. Can't say I enjoy doing things over and over again, but promised...

Fixed few minor UI issues and added few dozen more alloy names and few more data corrections were made after one more pass through it. Tomorrow more testing and touchups and I think it's ready for Saturday release, along with the android app.
