AUS6M(Aichi) - Ok stainless steel, quite popular in budget and entry level knives. Main highlight being good corrosion resistance and ok wear resistance. High carbon alloy based on knife marketing definition, >0.50% C, but not really. Trace amounts of Mo and V. V is mainly for grain refinement, not enough of it to increase wear resistance by forming vanadium carbides.

Manufacturing Technology - Ingot

Country - Japan(JP)
