CPM Rex 86(Crucible) - Crucible super high speed steel, working hardness 68-70HRC. 0.12% Sulfur is optional, added to large diameter rounds to improve machinability. According to Crucible it is comparable to AISI T15 and Crucible CPM Rex 76 steel. In other words, very high wear resistance and working hardness, difficult to machine, and heat treat. High carbide volume too, and because of that Z-Max is better off with the coarse edge at least 15°.

Manufacturing Technology - CPM
