HM1(Nachi Fujikoshi) - Molybdenum-tungsten high speed steel is a tough general purpose high speed steel with high cutting efficiency and excellent finishing properties. It is adapted to fast light cuts on soft or medium hard materials. Keep in mind, tough is a relative term, as it applies to high speed steel, which is designed for long term, high speed cutting, not chopping. Still, can be made into a decent knife, although AISI M2 and AISI M4 high speed steels are much more popular knife choices, having better combination of wear resistance and toughness.

Manufacturing Technology - Ingot

Country - Japan(JP)

NOTE - Approximate composition based on manufacturer's or standard reference information and other alloys in the same reference group is shown.
