Actually renamed main entry to A11 as well. To my surprise, while I was researching new steels and cross-referencing those with existing ones in the charts I found out that AISI A11 tool steel is the same Crucible CPM 10V and Latrobe Duratech A11, and Carpenter Tech. A11. All three maers use their hitech to make this steel, Crucible uses CPM, Latrobe uses PM, and Carpenter uses MicroMelt. BTW< later two have slightly higher Vanadium(0.05%) and Chromium(0.20%) content. I have no idea who, if anyone makes A11 using conventional steel melting. But it was really surprising to find few analogs of CPM 10V.

Knife steel chart help window control bar, which has a close button on it is permanently fixed in the location. Only the content scrolls. Makes it easier to close it :) same fix works for the Steel comparison graph. While I was at it, also updated the steel resources page. New links to manufacturers specs pages and other charts.

Both are quite exotic, very high alloy steels with high Cobalt, Vanadium and other content.

Fixed the bug in graph autosuggest search control. Using * search mask was causing incorrect results in the return values. Now it works correctly.

Fixed browser back button click issue. When selecting several alloys in the knife steel chart and building comparison graph based on that selection, after clicking the back button in the browser the alloys were still selected in the chart, but clicking the graph button would result in an error message, prompting to select at least one alloy. In other words, after going back the chart had selections, but it wasn't aware of those, so you'd have to uncheck them and then check again. After the fix going back from graph page to steel charts keeps the original selection correctly and you can rebuild the graph right away or add/remove more alloys.

As Yangdu posted today on HI forums, Sher (The Tiger) Kami and Get (Changa) Kami have left HI, and Nepal for that matter, moved out to another country, in hoped to get better life. Sad news for all kukri enthusiasts. Those were good kamis. Well, I wish them best of luck wherever they go.

Finally ordered ATI Radeon HD 5870 GPU and Waterblock for it. Considering that besides Command & Conquer series games I was only playing Stalker SOC with AMK mod, it was still ok to use, good old trusty Nvidia 8800Gt. After playing Stalker Call Of Pripyat, I've decided it was time to upgrade. ~450$-ish for the card, which btw, is out of stock in most of the online places, another 100$ for the waterblock. Can't say it is cheap, but that's the king of the hill for now. For a moment I thought about 5970, but a foot long card in my case, even if it is a large and spacious, is too much...
